STEPS TO BECOME AN INTERNATIONAL STUDENT

Applicants Requesting Change of Status to F-1

  • Fill out an Application for Admission and email to info@belcroftuniversity.com or fax it +1 (302) 502-6801.
  • Schedule a meeting (in-person, phone, virtual) with the school Admission representative (contact: +1 (302) 502-6801 or via email).
  • Bring to the meeting or email to the school the following documentation:

  • Copy of U.S. admission stamp in passport for the applicant and for any eligible dependent spouse or children (F-2). (Passport must be valid for 6 months from the time of application).
  • Copy of I-94 card (if arrived by land) or print out of electronic I-94 record (if arrived by air) from a DHS I-94 site for applicant and for any eligible dependent spouse or children (F-2). The validity date cannot be expired.
  • Copy of visa for applicant and for any eligible dependent spouse or children.
  • Copy of your bank statement to show sufficient finances to cover 1 year of school tuition and living expenses, including food and bills (recommended amount: $20,000 – $30,000 or as per program requirements). It can be your personal bank statement if you possess sufficient funds, an official letter of financial sponsorship if your personal funds are insufficient (form: Affidavit of Support) or a combination of both.
  • Pay registration, processing fees and admission deposit (bank transfer; money order; credit card; in-person).
  • Sign Enrollment Agreement (a contract that states mutual rights & obligations between the school & the applicant) and your Tuition Payment plan.
  • Receive I-20 Form, Acceptance letter, copies of Enrollment Agreement & Payment Plan.
  • Pay SEVIS I-901 fee. Once you receive your Form I-20, go to the SEVIS I-901 fee processing site for instructions on paying your SEVIS fee.
  • File Form I-539 either personally or with the help of an attorney.
