Belcroft University's dental programs prepare future dentists and internationally trained dental professionals to deliver exceptional patient care and advance the future of oral healthcare.

General Dental Admission Requirements

The following requirements apply to applicants of Belcroft University dental programs unless otherwise specified.

  • Completed Admissions Application and Application fee of $50
  • Minimum undergraduate cumulative GPA of 2.0
  • Official transcripts are required. The prospective student must arrange to have an evaluation of your foreign transcript by one of the recognized Education evaluation companies. The cost for foreign transcript evaluation is the responsibility of the student.
  • Professional résumé or curriculum vitae
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • Statement of Purpose
  • GRE scores (optional)
  • Proof of English Language Proficiency (TOEFL, IELTS, PTE, or Duolingo)
  • Proof of financial support/funds
  • Drug testing during the first semester for all clinical students

Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) Requirements

In addition to the general dental admission requirements, DMD applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent international degree
  • Preferred academic backgrounds include:
    • Biology
    • Biomedical Sciences / Medical Sciences
    • Chemistry / Biochemistry
    • Microbiology / Genetics
    • Neuroscience
    • Dental
    • Or related sciences
  • International applicants must submit Dental Admission Test (DAT) scores completed within the last three years.

Non-native English speakers who did not complete previous education in English must provide proof of English proficiency.

Advanced Standing Program (ASP) Requirements

In addition to the general dental admission requirements, ASP applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • The program requires the passage of NBDE Part I & II or the INBDE to be considered for admission. These exams are mandatory. Applicants must submit an official NBDE I & II or INBDE score report directly from the ADA to the Belcroft admissions office at admissions@belcroftuniversity.com. Candidate copies will not be accepted.
  • Candidate copies of examination reports will not be accepted
  • After acceptance, a $5,000 enrollment deposit is required
