Your International Admissions Journey

Follow these steps to apply, receive your visa, and begin your studies at Belcroft University.

Before applying, review the program options, admission requirements, tuition information, course delivery format, and program length. Select the program that best matches your academic background, professional goals, and eligibility.

Upload or email all required admissions documents by the deadline provided by the Admissions Department. Requirements vary by program; please refer to your specific program’s admissions page for details. All students must demonstrate sufficient financial means to cover the tuition and living expenses of their chosen program.

Once your application and documents are received, the Admissions Department will review your file for completeness and eligibility. If any information is missing, unclear, or incomplete, you will be contacted by email. Applicants should respond promptly to avoid delays in the admissions decision.

Some programs may require an admissions interview, writing sample, entrance assessment, prerequisite review, or faculty review. If this applies to your program, Belcroft University will send instructions by email.

After the admissions review is complete, Belcroft University will notify applicants in writing of their admissions status. Applicants may receive one of the following decisions:

  • Accepted – The applicant has met all admissions requirements and is eligible to enroll;
  • Conditionally Accepted – The applicant is admitted pending completion of specified requirements or submission of outstanding documentation.
  • Denied – The applicant does not currently meet the admissions requirements for the selected program.

Your I-20 will be issued after your documents have been approved by the Belcroft Admissions Department.The I-20 will be sent to you via email, and you should check the document to ensure all details are correct.

Once you receive your I-20, check the document for accuracy:

  • Your name, country of birth, country of citizenship, and date of birth information must match your passport.
  • The program of study information must be correct.
  • The financial information must be correct.
If any of these sections are inaccurate or if you have not received instructions, contact admissions@belcroftuniversity.com as soon as possible.

After your I-20 has been sent, another email will follow to introduce you to your academic advisor.

In order to receive your International Student Visa to study at Belcroft University, you will need the following:

  • Your passport and Your I-20 from Belcroft University.
  • Complete the Form DS-160 application online. Check a U.S. embassy/consulate for information.
  • A bank statement showing you have sufficient funds to attend Belcroft University.
  • SEVIS paid receipt. You can obtain after you pay your fee at the SEVIS portal.

U.S. embassies or consulates in certain countries may have additional document requirements. After you have gathered all the required documents, present them to a U.S. embassy or consulate during your interview to receive your F-1 student visa.

To receive an F-1 student visa, you may be asked to demonstrate the following during your visa interview:

  • Your primary purpose for traveling to the United States is to pursue your studies at Belcroft University.
  • You have sufficient ties to your home country and intend to depart the United States upon completion of your academic program in accordance with the terms of your visa.

Congratulations on receiving your F-1 student visa and taking an important step toward your academic journey at Belcroft University. After receiving your F-1 visa notify Belcroft and we will email you instructions regarding the next steps, including your deposit payment. You now need to prepare for your travel to the United States, which includes the following steps:

  • Secure your housing: Complete the housing form and questionnaire to let our team know what you are looking for.
  • Book your flights: Inform our team of your flight schedule once your travel is confirmed.
  • Check your dates: Remember that you can only enter the US 30 days or less before your program begins. Please check the official start date written on your I-20 form.
  • Plan your arrival: We provide airport pickup up to three days before classes start, and orientation will occur during the first week of classes.
  • Arrival information form: Submit the arrival information form as soon as you confirm your travel plans.

To confirm your enrollment and secure your place, you must pay a deposit within seven days of receiving your visa. Once Belcroft confirms your payment, the pre-arrival process will begin to ensure everything is set up before you travel.

After enrollment is confirmed, Belcroft University will connect you with an academic advisor or designated student support representative. Your advisor will help you understand program requirements, course sequencing, registration steps, academic expectations, and important deadlines.

Complete course registration according to the instructions provided by Belcroft University. Students should register only for courses that apply to their approved program of study and should confirm their schedule before the start of the term.

Review your tuition balance, fees, payment deadlines, and available payment options. Submit payment or complete an approved payment plan before the deadline to avoid registration holds or delays in starting classes.

There are a variety of housing options within close proximity to campus, but students should secure housing arrangements before arriving in the United States.

Housing Considerations:

  • On-Campus Housing: None available.
  • Off-Campus Housing: Multiple options near campus.
  • Transportation: Access to public transit.
  • Living Expenses: Rent, utilities, and food.
  • Lease Requirements: Security deposit and contract terms.

It is recommended for international students to maintain active health insurance coverage for the duration of their studies in the United States. Belcroft doesn’t provide medical insurance. The site provides links to insurance companies that may be helpful for international student while searching for suitable insurance plans.

Shortly after your acceptance and deposit, you will be sent a pre-arrival guide. This guide will provide you with all the information you need to know about arriving in Clearwater City and about Belcroft University. To help us prepare for your arrival and welcome you the Belcroft way, please submit your travel details as soon as your plans are finalized. To ensure university staff can support your transition, we need to know your arrival date, flight details, accommodation plans, and airport transportation arrangements. Before classes begin, activate your student account and confirm access to any required online learning platform, university email, student portal, and course materials. Students are responsible for maintaining reliable internet access and a computer or device suitable for coursework.

This will be a long day of important information to help you begin your academic journey at Belcroft University. Orientation provides important information about academic policies, student services, course expectations, communication channels, attendance requirements, grading, academic integrity, and support resources. Students should attend orientation before beginning classes.
